Prices in Green Mountain ended 2021 up 16% from 2020 while the number of sales has remained consistent with around 250 sales a year. Homes in the community range in size from 875 square feet to around 4,700 sqaure feet (finished living area), with between 2 to 6 bedrooms and 1 to 5 bathrooms these homes represent a range of price points and age. The community has its roots in quaint brick ranches on larger lots that began popping up post-World War II and throughout the 60s. In the 1970s, Hutchinson homes began building throughout the metro area and its bi-level, ranches and tri-level homes were popular in Green Mountain. We have seen a resurgence in their popularity over the last 2 years as inventory levels have been low and the location with close proximity to our mountains appeals to many. Green Mountain saw another building boom in the 80s with larger, more contemporary homes. The community saw another large development effort in the early years of 2000 with Lakewoods first large development effort when Solterra took off.
